This shirt does not have any mittens and the hoodie looks more like a sweatshirt. The tag says “1st grade” on it’s chest part, in case you haven’t noticed by now. I’ve been watching my students’ activities the last week, and noticed that they are getting more excited about reading at school. Teachers, this is for you! This sweater is a tribute to me who started with one shirt and ended up having many. The name of the sweater comes from the fact that I will always be thankful for helping students like you in the classroom, even if it hurts your feelings sometimes. This sweater is not only a thank you but also my favourite gift ever. I am thankful for many things but most of all being a 1st Grade Teacher Shirt. I am a 1st Grade teacher at an elementary school where there are about 25 students. I have no job lined up and so my paycheck is always in the red. The money goes towards buying new supplies for the classroom because there are not many teachers that make it to those classes. A 1st grade teacher shirt with a white background, and the words “I’m thankful of many things but most of all being a 1st Grade Teacher” written in black writing. The chest is composed by two hearts and the right sleeve has 2 arrows on it to represent the stars in this male version of Lego’s universe. A size small fits like a small medium.

I love the way it can be worn on days where I feel very positive (like a day when the kids are in the classroom, or maybe when I don’t feel like I’m doing my best to be a good teacher) or on days when I feel less positive yet still want to do my best.
